Data controller
forgenous is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact: [email protected].
Data we collect
When you submit the booking form we collect the name, email address, reason for contact, and the meeting slot you select, plus your newsletter opt-in choice. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising profiles.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
We process this data to arrange and confirm your requested call (steps necessary to respond to your enquiry) and, only if you tick the newsletter box, to send you occasional engineering notes on the basis of your consent. The newsletter opt-in is unbundled: booking a call never subscribes you.
How long we keep it
Booking-form submission logs are pseudonymized (your email address is one-way hashed, and your name and message are never stored) and are automatically deleted within 7 days by our edge provider. The resulting calendar event and any email correspondence are retained under our standard business-records policy; email [email protected] to have those deleted sooner.
Processors
We share data only with the processors needed to deliver the service: Cloudflare (edge delivery, bot protection, and the booking endpoint) and Microsoft 365 (calendar and email for [email protected]). Both act on our instructions under data-processing terms.
Your GDPR rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent (the newsletter), you can withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] to exercise any of these rights, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
